LACS Concert & Dessert Fundraiser/State Performance Standards Discussion - PAR Review presentation

Tuesday April 13th, LACS Gym

6:30pm - Concert and Dessert Fundraiser

7:15pm - PAR Review - NY State Performance Standards Consortium Discussion

Please come enjoy the LACS Band and Orchestra performance followed by and important presentation by the PAR review team.  This is an opportunity for families to hear about and discuss the relationship LACS has with the NY State Performance Standards Consortium and the collective role this network of schools has had in resisting and developing alternatives to the myopic high-stakes testing culture that has consumed New York and other states in the false pursuit of “leaving no child behind.”

The LACS Band & Orchestra will be holding a fundraising dessert & Pops concert at 6:30pm in the gym to raise money for our trip to Broadway. Please come out to support these young musicians and help us get to Broadway.
