Math Room

For parents/guardians of children with Asperger’s Syndrome, or on the Autism Spectrum or with related characteristics or needs.  Students are invited to participate as well. 

Please join us for a second casual evening of conversation and sharing at LACS.   The conversation can be guided by your needs.  Please call or email Beth (below) if you have questions or topics you would like to discuss.   Possible topics:

·      Share resources – We will bring some resources and you can feel free to bring any of your own to share.  
Share experiences.
Discuss resources you might want/need to support your child.
Give feedback regarding goals for your child at LACS or structures you would like to see in place for your child.
Ask questions about your child’s program at LACS.
Plan potential future meetings.

 Snacks provided.   Facilitated by Beth Taplitz, School Psychologist and Celia Clement, School Social Worker.  We will provide a nearby room where MS/HS age students can hang out and do homework or play quiet games.    Or, they can participate in the discussion.  If you need childcare, please let us know and we’ll see if we can provide someone to supervise.  Please RSVP:  to btaplitz@icsd.k12.ny.us or 274-2332.
